Doon IDA provides complete SSB exposure for Screening Test Day 1 comprising of Reasoning Ability Test, Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) , Picture Perception and Description Test (PPDT), both Indoors {Group Discussion (GD), Group Planning Exercise (GPE), Lecturette and Outdoor activities like Progressive Group Tasks, Half Group Tasks, Command Tasks, Individual Obstacles and Group Obstacle Race as faced by candidates at various SSB centers for Army, Navy, and Airforce.
Academic Campus
The Doon Indian Defence Academy has a campus located on Laxmi Road Dehradun, you will find the Largest GTO Ground just opposite to the road with all essential Obstacle Courses for GTO as well as Individual Tasks. The Main block called Pratham Pag block houses a library, Class rooms, SSB Classroom, and expands to block B which further houses other lecture halls as well as staffrooms. There are separate washrooms for boys and girls. All the classrooms are equipped with Projection facility and speakers to ensure that the delivery is aided with AV format. We look forward to complete digitization in coming years to ensure highest education delivery levels to all students. Our unmatched facilities in terms of classrooms, student areas, offices, and a specifically designed obstacle course for command tasks, group tasks, snake races speak of our excellence. SSB Core team comprises of Trainers with Army, Navy and Air force background. Candidate who is judicious always prefers to be coached by a specialist. In order to conduct comprehensive coaching, you’ll need the necessary equipment and facilities for outdoor activities. Doon IDA is the only academy with these facilities. We have a lecture hall with a seating capacity of more than 50 students for indoor classes.
